This is my first ever review (I'm so excited!) and I wanted to address something that pretty much everyone in the beauty world talks about. Sigma Brushes! Sigma is a relatively affordable online store that sells countless brushes from pencil brushes to contour brushes. Sigma also sells makeup but I've personally never tried any. BACK TO THE BRUSHES. I am literally in love with all the brushes I bought. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Jaclyn Hill set before they were all gone but you can still get all the brushes individually which is great for someone who just wants a particular piece.
First is the E25 blending brush which is a more affordable but still great version of the MAC 217 which is perfect for blending out the crease or just packing on colour to the lid. Then you have the F35 Tapered Highlighter brush. I love this brush because it picks up just the right amount of product and spreads it all out evenly across your cheekbones. Next to that is the E30 Pencil Brush. You can use this to smudge out your liner/eyeshadow on the lower lashline, top lashline or you can even use it to get a more precise crease or darker outer v. After that you have the F80 Flat Kabuki and OH MY GOD I can already tell I am going to love this brush. It is so dense and soft and ugh it just feels amazing. A lot of people recommend this brush for applying foundation which is what I will be using it for. Then there's the E55 eye shading and the E40 Tapered Blending brushes. Last but definitely not the least, you have the F86 Tapered Kabuki which is phenominal and infamous for applying Jaclyn's concealer.
If you could only choose a couple of these brushes to buy my top 3 definitely would be the F35, F80 and F86 because they are so versatile and I can see these brushes being staples in my everyday makeup routine. If you live in Australia you know how expensive it can be to find makeup brushes that do their job and what's even better Sigma ships internationally and shipping was pretty fast!
I hate that this set is sold out but I recommend to keep and eye out on their website as they always seem to be relasing new sets which will save you a lot of money. This set is perfect whether you're just starting out with makeup or you already love makeup.
